One day after Barack Obama announced that he personally was in favor of gay marriage, his campaign came out with a video ad showing him in a favorable light on this issue versus his rival Mitt Romney. (In case you forgot, he's the high school bully who likes to torture animals.)
Biden's "gaffe" which supposedly forced Obama's hand has quickly resulted in a galvanizing campaign issue and a boatload of cash.
